1. About Us
Kalakruti by Komal is a small, passionate business dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditional Motibharat (beadwork) craft of Saurashtra, Gujarat. We create and sell authentic handcrafted beadwork jewelry (necklaces, chokers, bracelets, anklets, earrings), purses, torans (door hangings), festive decorations, and home décor items.
All our products are lovingly handmade by skilled women artisans using traditional techniques passed down through generations.

2. Eligibility and User Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian to use this Website.
- By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we suspect any misuse, fraudulent activity, or violation of these Terms.
3. Products and Product Information
- All products on Kalakruti by Komal are handcrafted using traditional Motibharat beadwork techniques. Because of the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in color, size, pattern, shape, or finish may occur. These variations are natural and add to the unique character of each piece.
- We make every effort to display accurate images, colors, and descriptions. However, actual product colors and appearance may vary slightly due to monitor settings, lighting conditions during photography, or natural material differences.
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are subject to change without prior notice. Taxes are included in the displayed price unless otherwise stated. Shipping and handling charges are calculated separately at checkout.
4. Ordering and Order Acceptance
- Placing an order on the Website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, or limitations on quantities.
- Once your order is confirmed and payment is successfully processed, we will send you an order confirmation email. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order until the products are shipped.
- We may cancel orders due to stock shortages or other unforeseen circumstances and will notify you promptly with a full refund.
5. Payment
- All payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment gateways (such as Razorpay or similar). We do not store your complete credit/debit card details.
- Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, wallets, and any other methods displayed at checkout.
- In case of any failed or disputed transactions, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the amount as per our refund policy.
6. Shipping and Delivery
- We ship within India and may offer international shipping (subject to availability and customs regulations).
- Delivery timelines mentioned on the Website or at checkout are estimated only and may vary due to logistics partner delays, weather conditions, festivals, or unforeseen events.
- Once the product is handed over to the courier/shipping partner, the risk of loss or damage passes to you.
- For international orders, you are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by your country.
7. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
- Cancellation: You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it (before it is processed/shipped) by contacting us at artist@kalakrutibykomal.in. After this period, cancellations may not be possible.
- Returns & Exchanges: Due to the handmade nature of our products, we accept returns only in cases of manufacturing defects, damage during transit, or if the item received is significantly different from what was ordered.
- Returns must be initiated within 7 days from the date of delivery.
- The product must be unused, in its original condition, with all tags and packaging intact.
- Custom-made or personalized orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Refund Process: Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
- All return shipping costs are to be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
- All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, images, product designs, beadwork patterns, logos, graphics, and videos, is the exclusive intellectual property of Kalakruti by Komal or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission.
- We respect the traditional cultural heritage of Motibharat craft and aim to preserve its authenticity while giving it a contemporary expression.
9. User-Generated Content and Reviews
- If you submit reviews, feedback, photos, or any other content (“User Content”), you grant us a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and modify such content for marketing, promotional, and business purposes.
- You represent that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights and is not defamatory, obscene, or unlawful.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kalakruti by Komal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Website or purchase of products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product(s) that gave rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kalakruti by Komal, its owners, artisans, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Website.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
